At Palm House Design, Interior Designers collaborate with Design Consultants and Project Managers to create functional yet aesthetically pleasing spaces. We seek creative individuals capable of efficiently managing their schedules while handling design and sales tasks across various residential renovation projects.
As a designer at Palm House, you will confidently guide homeowners through high-end remodeling projects, from initial planning to project completion. Responsibilities include interviewing customers, developing design concepts within budgets, researching materials and design trends, creating scaled plans, and collaborating with purchasing for material orders. You will also visit job sites and engage with installers and homeowners throughout the remodeling process.
Requirements for Position:
- Proven experience in the remodeling industry, including consultations and space planning
- Four-year degree in design or related field
- Minimum of four years of design experience
- Experience in cabinetry design, specifically for kitchens and baths
- Proficiency in CAD programs (20/20 preferred or similar)
- Portfolio of work
- High integrity and respect for peers
- Value for a collaborative work environment
- Intermediate understanding of kitchen and bath systems, including plumbing and electrical knowledge.
We are hiring a full-time, experienced residential Field Carpenter within the company. Seeking service-oriented individuals with a background of at least 5-7 years in carpentry, displaying high-quality work, a strong work ethic, and good people skills. Submit a resume and references.

Design Consultants collaborate with Interior Designers and Project Managers to design, specify, estimate, and build upscale residential remodeling projects. This includes kitchens, baths, room additions, basements, and whole house remodels.
Consultants need experience and training in high-end remodeling projects, with a strong understanding of architectural and structural design. Key responsibilities include qualifying prospects, measuring existing structures, designing floor plans and elevations, specifying and pricing tasks and materials, obtaining quotes, and presenting designs to clients. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be expected.
Requirements for Position:
- Minimum of five (5) years of design & sales experience
- Strong interpersonal/sales skills
- Proficient in SoftPlan or similar CAD program
